KEITH FISHER
PASTOR
25 “So I turned my mind to understand, to investigate and to search out wisdom and the scheme of things… 28 while I was still searching but not finding – I found one upright man among a thousand…” (Ecclesiastes 7: 25, 28)
King Solomon, the wisest man that ruled Jerusalem, was searching but not finding God, or meaning in life.
Searching for God is not usually a straight line. It is a crooked path that takes us in strange places until we find the real thing: Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the creator of the universe.
He is the one that holds it all together.
When we make a mess of the world, he continues to hold it together.
Sometimes people blame Jesus for making the mess. But he takes the mess we make and turns it into beneficial gain.
The world is spiraling toward the end. The signs of Matthew 24 are pointing to the end: Wars, rumors of wars, famines, earthquakes, false prophets, nations rising against nations, the increase of wickedness and other signs of the end are taking place right now.
“The end” means the end of this present age. When this present age ends, it will be too late to search for God. Your destiny will be set. You will be in one of two places. Good news: You get to choose.
At Marketplace Church, we gather as the body of Christ to worship God.
If you would like to join us, we meet at 10:00 am on Sundays. If you are searching for him, we will point you in the right direction.
My name is Keith, and I am here to serve you as we follow God together.

CONNIE SERROR
HEALTH AND WELLNESS MINISTRY VOLUNTEER
Connie came to our church in January of 1975 to serve as their organist until Easter. Fifty years later, it appears no one specified which Easter that would be! In addition to her love for music, she is also a registered nurse and currently the church's Parish Nurse. Connie became an advocate for personal health and began a Health and Wellness Ministry. In addition to that ministry, she coordinates a bereavement support group, GriefShare. It is rewarding to be part of the healing that occurs when grieving individuals experience the help, hope and encouragement this Scripturally-oriented program offers.
She is a lifelong resident of the Toledo area, residing in Sylvania since 1982. She has two grown children and four granddaughters. Her interests include being an active community-based American Heart Association CPR instructor, and being a very-involved Nana, making frequent out-of-town trips to help out with those growing grandchildren.

SHELLY KIRSCH
DIRECTOR OF OUTREACH
I'm Shelly Kirsch. I'm a wife, mother of 2 sons and grandmother to three grandchildren. I'm a hairdresser by trade. I've attended Marketplace Community Church for over 20 years. Over the years and seasons of life, I've been involved with many aspects of ministry from Children's Ministry, board member, Small Group Leader, and Hospitality Coordinator. As life changed and children grew, I prayed for God to break my heart for what breaks His. He did and planted the seed of what grew into the Feed Your Neighbor Food Pantry Ministry. We just celebrated our 10th year in 2021. As one of the newest on staff, I'm so exited to be part of the team and following God's lead in our church and the ways we minister to the community God has placed us in.
